Walking around Bratislava at night
Bratislava is generally a safe city to walk in at any time of day. That being said it is still a major city and staying in well lit, populated areas and trusting your instincts will help you to avoid any uncomfortable situation. Around the Old Town, you can walk up and down the Korzo, a traditional area for Bratislavians' Sunday walks.
The promenade is also great for a stroll as it is by the river Danube and stretches from the Passenger Ship Port to the site of a development called River Park.
Obchodna street is also a good option for a walk but with a much different feeling. Being one of the former main shopping streets in Bratislava it is filled with students, teenagers, and other locals that frequent the many pubs and cafés and is a great place to do some people watching.
A great place for couples is the Sad Janka Krala, a public garden on the south bank of the Danube river between the New Bridge and the Old Bridge.
